You used to sayThat all it takes is a dollar and a daydreamBut now you'd doYou'd do anything to deflate meWhen you were down and when you criedWho was there, right by your side, baby? But now I'm out the door, I won't waste no time thinking about you anymoreCause I got new girls, new problems, oooohI won't waste no time talking about you anymoreCause I got new girls, new problemsI used to thinkThat all it took was a little loveI guess that's not true, cause now I knowThat it's not enoughAnd when I was down, I was cryingYou were running 'round, you were lyingAnd when you were down, I was tryingTo lift you up, feather in the wind, I'll never do that again

Track off Cody Simpson’s third album Free which is his first album released as an independent artist with his own label Coast House after leaving Atlantic in August 2014.

You are watching: Cody simpson new problem

The album is called Free as Cody left his record label to get creative control over his music as he felt the music he was produced, was not the real him. Free sees Cody go back to his guitar roots with laid back, chilled out songs with a major John Mayer / Jack Johnson vibe.

New Problems sees Cody’s take a page out of Jay Z’s book stating that he has “99 problems, but you ain’t one anymore”.
